From Malaysia's most popular MOBA titles to world-class competitive FPS — it's all available at Soju88.
If you're a Malaysian gamer, you know just how big and vibrant our esports community has become. From school kids playing Mobile Legends after class to young adults staying up until 3am to follow Dota 2 and CS2 tournaments — esports has become part of the identity of Malaysia's younger generation. And when a major tournament rolls around, there's one thing more and more Malaysian esports fans are doing to make it even more exciting: esports betting on Soju88.
Soju88 is among the first platforms in Malaysia to make a serious investment in esports coverage. We understand that esports is more than just video games — it is a genuine competitive sport with athletes, strategy, in-depth analysis, and a dedicated fanbase. That is why we offer betting markets that go well beyond simply "who wins this match".
Ask any Malaysian esports player which game they follow most closely, and Mobile Legends: Bang Bang will almost always be the answer. MLBB is more than just popular — it has become a genuine cultural phenomenon. MPL Malaysia (Mobile Legends Professional League) is one of the most active and most-watched esports leagues in Southeast Asia, and teams like Todak, RSG MY, EVOS MY, and Geek Fam have built strong reputations on the international stage.
At Soju88, our MLBB coverage is the most comprehensive of any platform in Malaysia. Every match across MPL MY, MSC (Mid-Season Cup), M-Series World Championship, and qualifier tournaments is open for betting. Markets go well beyond just match winner — we offer map handicap, total kills, first blood, first tower destroyed, first map winner, and many more for players who truly understand the current MLBB meta.
Soju88's key advantage for MLBB is odds that update in real time based on in-game situations as the match unfolds. The moment your favourite team secures the Baron or pulls off a decisive team fight, the odds shift immediately — giving players who truly understand the game a sharper edge when placing their bets.
For players who follow esports at the global level, Soju88 offers full coverage of the two most competitive titles in esports history — Dota 2 and Counter-Strike 2 (CS2).
The International Dota 2 is the highest prize pool tournament in esports history, drawing millions of viewers from around the globe every year. Soju88 provides betting markets for every stage of The International, from the group stage through to the grand final, including specialist markets such as group winners, early elimination picks and head-to-head comparisons between teams from the same region.
For CS2, Soju88 covers all ESL Majors, BLAST Premier, IEM Katowice, and other tier-1 tournaments. CS2 markets on Soju88 go deep — beyond match winner, you'll find round handicap, over/under total rounds, pistol round winner, which team gets first kill in a given round, and live betting that tracks map momentum in real time.
Valorant by Riot Games may be younger than CS2 and Dota 2, but it has already built a highly active community in Malaysia, particularly among players aged 18 to 25. VCT (Valorant Champions Tour) is the official Valorant league covering the APAC region — and Malaysia has an increasingly competitive presence at the regional level. Soju88 provides full coverage of all VCT APAC matches and the international Valorant Champions event.
Free Fire is another battle royale title with massive popularity in Malaysia, particularly among mobile gamers. The Free Fire Malaysia Open and the Garena Free Fire World Series are among the most-watched tournaments in the Malaysian esports scene. soju88 offers markets for all team matches in Free Fire, including total team kills, who wins the first Booyah, and the overall tournament winner.
Depositing for esports betting on Soju88 is just as straightforward as the payment methods you use every day:

More than just picking a winner — soju88 offers deep markets for every esports match.
The simplest market — pick the team you think will win the overall match. Suitable for all experience levels, including those just getting started with esports betting on soju88.
The stronger team is given a negative handicap to level the odds. Example: Todak -1.5 maps means Todak must win 2-0 for your bet to win. Offers better value when backing a heavily favoured team.
Predict whether a specific stat (kills, rounds, maps) will go over or under a set value. You don't need to know who wins — just gauge the overall intensity of the match.
Place bets while the match is in progress. Odds shift in real time based on the score and current situation — ideal for bettors who are watching the stream and can read the game's momentum as it unfolds.
Unique markets for every esports title — in MLBB: who gets first blood or first tower; in CS2: who wins the pistol round or over/under on total rounds; in Dota 2: who secures the first Roshan.
Combine multiple esports matches into a single parlay ticket. Every selection must be correct to win, but the combined odds can deliver returns far greater than the size of the original stake.

Tips from experienced players for smarter esports betting.
Esports live betting is most rewarding when you watch the match as it happens. Being able to read the game's momentum will lead to better betting decisions than relying on the scoreline alone.
Head-to-head records, recent form over the last 5 matches, and roster changes are critical data points in esports. Unlike traditional sports, shifts in the game's meta can also rapidly reshape the power balance between teams.
You make better betting decisions on games you actively play or follow. If you are an MLBB player, start with MLBB betting before branching out to Dota 2 or CS2, which you may be less familiar with.
Set a maximum amount you're willing to wager before you start. Esports can be incredibly exciting, especially during major tournaments — financial discipline is the key to a healthy and enjoyable experience.

Real experiences from Malaysian esports fans actively betting on soju88.
"I've been following MPL Malaysia for years. Once Soju88 launched full MLBB coverage with live betting, I never looked at another platform. First blood, first tower, kills markets — it's all there. Last week I hit 4 parlays in a row and walked away with RM 5,400 from an RM 80 stake. Absolutely insane."
"I play CS2 myself and have followed the pro scene for years. The CS2 odds on Soju88 are more competitive than anywhere else I've tried. Live betting mid-round hits differently — you need to know when NaVi has the momentum. TNG deposit goes straight through, fast and hassle-free."
"Just got into esports betting last month. Started with MLBB since I know the game best. soju88 has a quick tutorial built into the platform that helped me understand how to read odds and the different bet types. Now I've started exploring Valorant VCT too. The interface is user-friendly and searching for games is fast."
